What is the BRASI Program Advisory Council?

Program Advisory Council members are a selection of exceptional leaders in their fields with a diversity of program-related experience and expertise, representing key stakeholders, i.e., Employers, Supply Chain Professionals, Students, and Academia.

Program advisors identify current and future industry trends and shifts in the skills and knowledge graduates need to meet employer requirements. Council members also assist in identifying industry resources, including guest speakers, field placement, co-op, and graduate employment opportunities.

Program Advisory Council members are the key liaisons between BRASI and the program stakeholders.

PAC Roles & Responsibilities

The BRASI Program Advisory Council (PAC) supports our mission by guiding curriculum design, monitoring industry trends, and strengthening program quality through active participation and feedback.

Curriculum Enhancement

Contribute to the development of our curriculum by guiding learning needs surveys, integrating new topics, and ensuring interactive content keeps pace with industry expectations.

Industry Trends

Offer strategic advice on emerging technologies and shifts in supply chain and operations management, helping programs remain relevant and aligned with real-world practices.

Assessment Review

Engage in the evaluation and updating of assessment instruments, ensuring they accurately measure learning outcomes and reflect the evolving needs of employers and learners.

Program Innovation

Recommend fresh concepts, exercises, and instructional approaches that enhance engagement, encourage critical thinking, and strengthen the overall learning experience.

Council Engagement

Participate actively in quarterly advisory meetings, whether in person or remotely, to discuss program progress, share insights, and help guide future directions.

Feedback & Collaboration

Review meeting minutes, provide constructive feedback, and collaborate with fellow council members to support continuous improvement and long-term program success.
